Software needs to be first in most systems. In this case I am trying to be flexible. I know the software I want to use, that could limit the hardware, but there is a happy accident! Most of the applications I am looking to use run on Linux and are optimized for the Raspberry Pi.

In the industry there are more and more systems using Linux as the core. The design of the core of Linux lends itself very nicely to what we need. We can eliminate software that is running all the time on systems like Windows. Reducing the software in a system is one of my fundamental rules.
