I have used Raspberry Pi Single Board Computers in Audio Systems and around the house and office for many years. In 2018, I started testing the Pi in multiple roles for Audio Playback. By 2021, I had developed a process and built my first full-on Server and Streamer systems using Raspberry Pi’s running Squeezebox Server and Squeezelite endpoints. Since that article, I have developed other systems for music playback. I have also tried several brands of servers and streamers. I have never been able to settle down with any of them. For me, it has been a battle to find Goldilocks! Starting this year, I have returned to using the Pi with excellent results. This was the kickoff:
